Additional Good Work

As well as the National President’s Charity there are a host of other activities taking place across GB&I to support charities and local communities.

The Ocado Christmas Eve Warehouse Purge

Last Christmas, we teamed up with Ocado, visited their distribution centres on Christmas Eve and distributed perishables to foodbanks, soup kitchens and charities who feed those who are vulnerable at Christmas time.

It was a fantastic side by side effort and due to the success of the event will include even more Clubs next Christmas - as well as Erith, Bristol, Bicester, Andover and Purfleet other hubs in the North of England will be included. (Go to articles about Bristol and Basingstoke)

Local Initiatives

As well as raising money nationally, 41 Clubs get involved locally in some great activities and fund raising efforts. The 35% of all 41 Clubs who completed the "Club Survey 2023/24" raised over £100,000 between them in a year. Go to our Community News page and see community activities large and small from the Ponteland Wheelbarrow Race, Llangollen donating money to help a local Parkinson Support Group and the German Christmas Convoy.

Supporting Round Table

As well as undertaking their own activities, many 41 Clubs support their local Round Table in charitable activities including Beer Festivals, Children in Need, Firework nights and don’t forget the Father Christmas Sleighs

If your Club is involved in your local community, tell us about it – we are keen to celebrate our success. Simply email some words and photographs of your community involvement to content@41club.co.uk and we will publish it.
