Region 3

I am privileged to serve as National Councillor for Region 3 - the Island of Ireland.

I have been a member of the Round Table Family for close on thirty years. During this time, I have had made great and enduring friendships both north and south of the border, in Britain and around the world. I have had many great trips and experiences that would not have happened had it not been for my membership of Round Table and in recent years, 41 Club.

I have always said that it is better to be a player on the pitch than a spectator on the side-line.41 Club has given so much to me, I am more than happy to give it some of my time and energy.

During my term I intend to support the 41 Clubs across the Island of Ireland, to help them grow their membership and hopefully encourage the establishment of new clubs.

I’ll do my best to represent to views of our Irish clubs and members at national level. I’ll make sure the unique needs of 41 Club in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are understood within 41 Club.

Our links with Round Table are vital and I plan to keep them strong and active.

I am looking forward to meeting old friends and making new ones in my term as National Councillor.

I am old enough to know that I don’t have a monopoly on wisdom, and young enough to care. So, if you have any ideas on what 4 Club should do, or do better, I am always available for a chat, a coffee and by times, a beer. So don’t be shy, drop me line and we can talk.

Yours in Continued Friendship
