2016 Christmas Dinner (13th January 2017)

As has become the custom, we held our Christmas Dinner for 2016 in January 2017!

Chairman Mike had arranged some after dinner entertainment, and surprised us all when "Il Divo" entered the room and performed a wonderful version of Amazing Grace.

The audience were concerned that the four members of Il Divo looked just a little bit greyer than we remembered, but the singing voices were just perfect. Il Divo had even arranged for a Scottish Piper to play bagpipes as backing for the song, and the piper performed splendidly, not missing a single note.

After this magnificent performance, which received a standing ovation, Il Divo led us in a sing song where we all joined in with "500 Miles", "Delilah", "Amarillo" and "Sailing".
