WHY!!!

You may feel that the end of the road has come for your Club. Not been able to get someone to be Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer? Most Clubs go through this dilemma every year. Why not take it in turns to organise a meeting, or just meet once a month to catch up with old friends. For that is what we are!

Without 41 Club, experience says that the contact will be lost over time and people will drift apart which would be a great shame for everyone. These meetings are a great opportunity to meet and catch up with old friends – after all we all have a shared history.

Everyone whose details are on CAS receives the magazine, which helps inform about what is happening around the country and provides interesting articles. In addition there is the newsletter which goes out by email. If you do not receive one or both of these then your address or email address is not on the system or may be incorrect. Contact your National Councillor who will make the changes for you. He will also come along to your meeting to discuss this with you.

The website is quite an informative tool. Just spend 10 minutes having a look around I am sure they will find something that will interest each and every one of them.

Insurance is another positive benefit. There is insurance to cover events organised by 41 Club (non-ex Tablers are probably not covered though).

There are various genuine discount schemes for members, for example there is a discount scheme with Hyundai. Wider wallet is a discount scheme which allows you to save money at many household name shops eg, Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer, Currys.
