National Secretary Manny Martins
The AGM will be upon us before I can say …. What’s his name again? Memory loss.
As you read this, the AGM invitation has gone out to all Clubs. Resolutions and Nominations for National posts have been received and the Agenda and Order Paper drafted and distributed.
There are still a number of unfulfilled posts in the Regions:
Region 1: Scotland West
Region 2: Scotland East
Region 18: Essex and North East London
Region 19: London Chilterns
So, if you are interested please contact the National Councilor’s Liaison Officer Phill Ellis in the first instance for an informal chat.
Back to the Agenda and Order Paper! Please read this (it’s on the website front page) to make yourselves aware of the nominees addresses and the 10 Resolutions. There is a lot to absorb I know and it is worthwhile.
The Marchesi House Contract for admin services is signed and valid for another three years. Please expect a continuation of service with my stepping down next weekend. I wish my successor well. My post is hotly contested with four worthy candidates willing to battle it out at the AGM.
All Minutes and Reports are updated on the website in my pages please read at your leisure.
I have had the pleasure of representing the Association and speaking at :
- Battle 41 Club’s 40th Charter Anniversary and presenting three Club Service Awards.
- Great Dunmow 41 Club’s 50th Charter Anniversary and presenting a well-deserved Club Service award.
Great nights both of them
I am preparing to enter the New Milton Pedal Car Grand Prix this July, any keen cyclists please? The next St Austell Round Table Banger Challenge is not until 2018 so plenty of time for you and I to purchase a car and start theming it.
See you at the AGM.
More updates to follow.
Yours in Continued Friendship
